Since you are a starting out from zero a sumo robot would be a good choice. It is a well known quantity at this point with lots of parts, simple rules, and very focused on the battle aspect. You can build two at once and program them again

This is just fantastic. I wonder how small older consoles can be these days while still maintaining full hardware compatibility.

If the maintainer is reading, having a demo video would be nice.

My friend, the best way to grow a business is to work with the people who already trust and support it. Start having conversations with your patreon supporters. Ask them these same questions.

I have a forever project that is only meant for my needs. It’s basically a web app with a bunch of tools to make my life easier. Things like a links board, blog engine, event tracker, and more. Now I’m adding an llm to include better search

I remember biking to elementary school in 1989/90. I was in fifth grade and loved the freedom. After school, I’d go back home to say hi to mom and then off I was to the mall in my bike. Those were the days …

I do tend to stumble into it with hardware relates libs like ROS. Web adjacent libraries/frameworks, IMO, tends to package things a little nicer (though the js ecosystem just said YOLO).

Interesting how it was perceived me suggesting they publish a crate with multiple unrelated functionality. My point is that I keep my own little collection of useful code. I don’t publish it as a package or crate. It’s what I suggested to t

I package unrelated classes, functions, utilities like yours into one module/crate/library and just keep adding stuff to it. Sort of like my own standard library.

I’m still going through the ps4 library. The ps5 is nice but its library is small and I can’t justify the price at the moment. I might pick one up used but it’s not like they’re coming out with great games.

About four hours of total content from 4GB is really nice. The cartridges seem to go for $25. This is a cool medium to explore. Gonna have to put me on one of these.

Looks like shots from a sci-fi horror movie. I wonder what we’ll find out when humanity eventually makes it to mars. If my Futurama watching history predicts anything, is that the martians won’t have a concept of property. Thus the coloniz

I’ve been feeling more and more that we should reconsider open source licenses to protect our rights as authors from LLM vendors. I’m not against them basing their models on my work. I do have reservations on them generating their models on

Yes, and building correctness into an LLM-enabled system should be part of the architecture. I’ve been working on this for the 18 months and it’s clear that we’re far from understanding industry-wise patterns that may arise or apply.
