so instead of sovereign powers, we should hand our monetary policy to the neo-nobility that is large stakeholders (PoS) or the sovereign granted patents in ASIC mining in PoW coins? I feel like we're just shifting who to trust and not

Like I said on another site: ... people know AWS and know how to be productive with the services and frameworks for AWS. that alone is a figure hard to quantify. Sure I could save money bringing all the servers back internally or using chea

Thanks to you and the other comment under mine, I revised my snippet. I use to just copy/paste it into screen or tio, but now that I have this tool[1] I don't need to. You're absolutely right I could get the terminal size wit

I tend to agree. I am just finishing up a tool I'm using to automate a bunch of interactions I have with the 4 USB UARTs on my desk and I ended up going with expect. If I knew about pexpect I would have probably used that. However, sin

You're getting them anyway, but sure in the sense that you're getting part-premium. I don't know many, if any in the US, that have actual USTs full of midgrade and don't blend the two more common ones at the dispenser.

The fuel flows through a filter in the dispenser, so it shouldn't be problematic.

I don't see how squashing or not would have made this case hard to find. Once you find the bad case "squashed" one, one could always reset HEAD^ and just checkout files back and forth til you find the failing change.

I actually think this is a great idea. There are a few immediate questions I have though. 1) how does one define a key with a ": " 2) as others said, significant whitespace, specifically trailing, seems to lead problems with keys

You could also do a combined approach with the tarpit + fail2ban parser that could just ban people stuck for longer than x amount of seconds.

honestly, I've only ever needed to rebalance on a desktop system when statfs() returned an f_bavail=0 and some program decided to take this information seriously and refused to write at all. There are still quirks with statfs info comi

I can't speak for everyone, but in terms of administration, it's much easier to deal with than having to sort through the filesystem sundae you end up making with device mapper frameworks and the filesystem cherry on top of it all

This is what I was thinking as well. It just means packagers have to be mindful of what kind of files their maintained software makes and to appropriately carry these metadata changes where they are needed. I don't really see an issue

Funny enough, to the last point, someone drafted an IPv4+ spec that does something like that. see https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-tang-ipv4plus-03 Basically adds an optional area code to encode more addressable bits.

Not that you're wrong, but passively sniffing SNI's is much more involved than DNS replying with an incorrect IP. Maybe countries highly invested in it like China can do it.

The problem with this, and likely why the post was made in the first place, is screen and many other solutions are basically just a terminal emulator on your existing terminal emulator and may cause problems. screen for instance seems to ma
