I have a thinkpad T470(Fedora 28) and T470p(QubesOS) that runs Linux just fine. Without any driver issues. The battery life is excellent once you install the tlp packages.

I use both Mac(Work) and Thinkpads(Personal) laptops. Thinkpads (T470 and T470p are what i use) are really good wrt linux driver support. I personally use Fedora + Sway as my daily driver. It has excellent driver support(didn't get the

Would it be possible to just disable the usb driver from the OS(or just limit it, to a very very few tasks). Without it being a burden for UX purposes. One could argue that an exploit might be written in such a way that, it could be trigger

Changing the distro underneath would break all other Dockerfiles that assume they are running on a certain distro. How do we have to deal with cases when the distro is switched from debian to centos for example?.

This is very neat. Imagine if you are trying to tune the server parameters, the instant results from the service gives you a quick feedback on how your parameters are effecting the throughput. Very nice indeed.

Our company uses a combination of Capistrano and Puppet. It is actually pretty easy to get going with Capistrano and Puppet if you are comfortable with Ruby. Our Capfile specifies the server recipe which is propagated to Puppet using Enviro

*Android OS in unable to run untouched .class/.jar apps. Im not sure if that is correct. I have implemented a VoIP application using JAIN SIP jar files compiled with Standard JDK 1.6 that ran fine on Dalvik. This was of-course pre Android 1

Accorting to http://latersgd.com/ there are about 93,000 domains transfered from GoDaddy to other registrars. Boycotts and Transfers seem to be catching up. For instance a few hours ago there were about 18,000 domains transfered off GoDad

I transfered all of my domains from Godaddy to Namecheap.com I couldn't transfer my country specific domains like .de and .in and they seem to have only a sub-set of TLD's godaddy supports.
