I find it amusing that you list "no glowing apple logo" as a downside. That's pretty much the only good part about the new MacBook Pro in my book. Besides being obnoxious (which is admittedly subjective), it lets light throug

Not sure if Kickstarter is required for this. You can already order magnetic adapters for micro USB and Lightning ports fom China, and I even found existing solutions for the Type C port [1]. [1]: https://www.aliexpress.com/

This. I own a mid 2012 non-retina MBP as that's the only MacBook that I could justify buying. It's actually a serviceable and upgradable computer and not just an appliance. It's sad to think that for this reason it will most

The quiet switches you talk about are probably linear, they indeed go all the way down without any feedback. There is also a middle ground - MX Brown and MX Clear - they have some tactile feedback but without the click. They're not ide

I'm also in the same position. Currently using the Swipe application for Android, which is a wrapper around Facebook mobile with a hack to enable messaging. It works for now, but it's pretty much an uphill battle and I'm worr

The problem is your eyes can focus at different focal planes: on an object, past an object etc. I'd imagine it would be pretty jarring if the software just blurred everything around an object that happened to be at the x, y coordinates

All keyboards have a spacebar. Not all keyboards today have dedicated page up/page down keys. So potentially more keystrokes due to the function layer.

I didn't imply that it's impossible. I just mean it is silly. Imagine that you need to pick out your particular family emoji each time from all the possible combinations. Perhaps you would need to enter your race when you create a

Absolutely, emojis shouldn't have a race, gender or sexual orientation. They should be round and yellow. When they're yellow genderless blobs, they're universal, they transcend categorization. They're abstract representa
