I get the feeling the ruling on Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc. v. Goldsmith will point how the Supreme Court will see this. I'm starting to think that the entity who owns the data used for training should own the out

Apple transitioned from x86 to ARM in less than a year. Apple started a lot earlier than the announcement and hasn't completed the transition yet (Mac Pro). A lot of companies better have had RISC-V initiatives in the pipeline alrea

I just want to see the tweets of people I follow and stuff they retweet. I like the ability to turn off retweets from people I follow. I can even live with ads. I absolutely do not want to see what people like, trends, or tweets from rand

This is a hard realization that not many people internalize. Incapacitation can actually be more painful for your loved ones and business associates than your death. Death has a lot of ritual / legal step in society, but incapacitati

I'm actually convinced that all the open source messaging apps are harder to install than postfix or opensmtpd thus a true pain in the butt. I get that most are trying to sell services but having an easy to install and setup program w

I know. I grew up on a road with no name that numbered the houses with an odd cadence. But, well mannered neighborhoods have stuck with the scheme such that most people recognize the reference.

Well, there is about three devils worth of pain in our Unix servers sometimes. I remember being in a building that was 668 and we called it neighbor of the beast (US streets have odd on one side and even house numbers on the other).

You don't have to go to that extreme. Although, /usr/local should be its own partition for the wxallowed, and /var/log should be its own to keep some nasty logging from screwing everything up. I have a standard &#

A funny point is that the line depicted in the second picture down (Micro Center - Burlington) is not exactly unique to an NVIDIA launch. Micro Center often has long lines for a variety of manufactures new parts. That place is basically t

Its ever so fun to have to deal with middle school with green bubbles. Apple is directly responsible for some kids getting bullied, but I guess it works out for them since we had to buy some more Apple devices.
