Asking, "do you mind?" is not an assumption of consent. It's the same question, do you consent? It's like asking someone if they mind smoking. It has two implications. First, you can say you do mind. Second, I obvio

It's not going to keep old cars on the road if you mandate expensive tests to do so, when new cars don't need the tests.

I hated it on my Toyota, but love it on the Honda Prologue (which is really a Chevy Blazer). On the Toyota it would drift down until I was following someone who I would normally have passed if I saw them coming. It would then race to catc

The only way to have affordable, ubiquitous testing stations is to make it universal. At least, in states that do not also require safety inspections. If only 10,000 cars were tested each year, nobody would buy the equipment.

That's like the jurisdictions that put rumble strips on the white line and not further into the shoulder. Very frustrating for ordinary cornering.

I use it in my professional appointments. If someone asked me not to, I'd turn it off. It makes the flow of the appointment much better than if I try to write the notes as we go, and if I don't write then and there, something wi

I think it was a mostly innocent bystander, because they decided to put codeine-combination painkillers (Vicodin, etc.) in schedule 2 but wrote it as just opiate combination medicines.

And, all of this, to avoid selling a little bit of the narcotic codeine. Which was technically permitted to be sold "behind the counter" without prescription, but was made Schedule II as part of cough syrup in the US not long ago

That's a weird statement. I don't think I'll ever visit a cardiologist (as a patient) unless I had a suspicion of heart disease. Is it common to get checked out by specialists for no reason in your locale?

I think part of it comes down to trust. GE can trust that metal alloy from its supplier will not be substituted, etc. They still have to manage quality but they don't have to vertically integrate just to get the level of quality they

I assume they only did it to explain why the DVD cost more than the VHS you might already have. Even with Redbox you probably didn't have the DVD long enough to get a chance to watch the extra content.

Eat less to lose the weight. Tirzepatide or something similar makes that a lot easier. Tabata (the sprint/recover running technique) was developed, I believe, to increase VO2-max. It should help with overall endurance, and you can go
