Yes they should be swallowed, but by the business/card company, not the consumer. They can decide if they want to get insured for that or not. It's ridiculous to subsidize their business risks.

So aside from Rest being incompetent morons ("temperature changes" from smoking??), they now also have incentive to make it trigger as much as possible.

We just set chart version equal to image version, they live in the same repo and are released and built together (and the chart is only published after successfully publishing the image, so it's always valid). The chart allows to overr

Yeah I prefer the review UI to give me alphabetical order just so I can easily navigate it, but I won't read it in that order. I think the google review tool (critique) would sort C/C++ header files before implementation, even tho

Every sensible MCP client does ask by default. They have changed that to auto-allow, likely after going through a pop-up warning about this exact issue, and now proclaim surprise.

People review files top down? I can't imagine doing that. I glance at the list, and try to spot the highest level change (schema changes, interfaces, etc) and start there. If the core idea is wrong no point wasting time on the rest. Th

While I agree this is a common golang theme, in this case I believe this decision predates the golang implementation and comes from the C++ RE2 days, no?

On one hand I really like that project and what they do, but on the other hand I hate how it's managed. I was very excited about it over ten years ago and wanted to join the network. They are very weird about not releasing the designs

I've been thinking about this for a while and did a bunch of research and planning, though had no time for building yet. Stepdown transformer or 12V AC power bricks with barrel jack output are easy to get and cheap. Lower voltage, easi

The server/ML GPUs are not great for gaming, they strip out all the specialized shader/pixel units to cram in more general compute cores. In theory you could write games with just those but aside from the amount of work needed I&#

This is a HN "feature" removing How if it's the first word in the title. It serves no purpose other than generating confusion, with mods saying this somehow stops clickbait. How, you wonder? Nobody knows.
