It can be profitable. But yeah, the market is small. I've looked into this before - even the poorer Eastern European countries prefer new products to refurbished ones. And that seems to mirror the opinion of a lot (probably most) peopl

Well apparently not all people want to be eco friendly. Most people I know would rather buy a new low/mid range product than a used/refurbished device that was high end when it was released. It's mind boggling - you'd ra

What about replacing only the software? Or will they claim it's illegal and you still don't own the hardware?

Honestly, the existence of Linux (and other open source software) is a miracle after seeing all the bullshit around copyright and licensing these days...

Is that accurate? 15% could generate that much? That's mind boggling, I always assumed it would take a 50%+ tax on multimillionaires/billionaires...

We most likely can't actually prevent a meteor strike. There's plans to do it, but nothing will be ready for another few decades. Even if we're lucky to detect it very early, we'd have to quickly create a delivery system

From what I read, it is harmful because it's illegal. Just like countless other drugs. You can't get a high purity sample from an advanced lab and have to trust random chemists who do it illegally. Pure LSD seems to be quite saf

What if it was? It's all in our head anyway, so if it was a placebo effect, but a noticeable one for that person, with the trigger being that "I took LSD", then why not? When you're angry, but can calm down or feel happy

If I search in English , why the hell would they display local results? Makes no sense. Used to be you could use Google.com, and later Google.ca or co.uk (because .com started auto-redirecting to your local tld), but not anymore.

I grew up in a country where Internet wasn't a priority by any means and still isn't. Yet it went from dialup to gigabit fiber and worst case scenario DSL in less than a decade, along with GPRS/EDGE and soon afterwards 3G and

A United States of Europe would be great, but what you're proposing is insane. First of all, it won't work at all without military conflict, and from there it's World War 3. Based on language alone, the EU would self-destruct
