Depends on your country, in Canada at least they're stocked by our largest chain bookstore. They're quite readily available online just about anywhere though.

From what I've seen, there are no actual cases of this in practice at least not on Google devices - Google devices don't even have such a fuse. Maybe some Samsung stuff - but that's an easy fix, don't buy from Samsung. A

Sorry, but "froze and messed with all partitions" makes it sound more like you fucked up and flashed the wrong rom or something - flashing an update should never mess with all partitions - only /system and /data really.

Kobos are extremely easy to modify and completely not "protected". I highly recommend them. Many of them have touch screens and wifi too if that's of any benefit to you. There's a pretty decent dev community that has Qt

Yeah, that's definitely a step in the right direction, I certainly wouldn't say that Google does nothing to protect their interests in advertising - especially given their recent actions on the Chrome store with AdNauseum. However

The Note 3 is not a Google-made device, it's made by Samsung. Google's own Nexus and Pixel devices allow it in a single button press, I'm unsure of other manufacturers except OnePlus which does the same as Google. As I said

Use magisk or suhide and they'll work just fine. When you have access to the bootloader, there's nothing they can do to stop you - any attempt will ultimately be futile.

The catch here is that it isn't as good - using uBlock in FF for Android for example will properly block all ad frames. Using adaway or a pi-hole for that matter will not - they will only cause ad loading to fail (in some cases) - whic

You can set it to sync only on wifi and/or only when charging, which has always done the job for me. Depends on your use case, but things like password DBs need to be update-able from both directions, which rsync doesn't really do

Interesting that the mobile usage seems to be so low from this, I sync my desktop, NAS and phone using Syncthing constantly. I also reject any sort of statistics though, so I'm probably not helping.

It may be fairly straightforward to port the ZFS FUSE to Windows if you use things like Dokan or WinFsp which have the FUSE interface supported fairly well - these would give full access via standard Windows tools.

The local software doesn't really carry the same security concern. With cloud-based or in-person tax preparation, there's a risk that a single breach could compromise many, many tax returns. With offline software you have no such

On the other hand, anticipation of the ETF may have been responsible for the last few months of increases from ~700-1250 USD. But that's pure speculation on my part.

Really? I didn't think they'd do anycast on their reverse proxy servers, that seems risky to me (ie: a TCP connection changes from one server to another due to a BGP change), but I suppose the odds are fairly low. I seem to rememb

What are you looking for from a roguelike engine? Just display/controls? Or do you want something that'll do the level generation too?

I'm not suggesting that at all. Ebooks do not necessarily lock you to any particular provider, especially if you're willing to strip DRM to get where you need to be. You can grep your whole collection with full control if you
