HUGE Bhatoora and Rumali roti fan. I really wish more restaurants in the US served rumali roti. I haven't had much success finding. For those who love bhatooras, I've found that even if it it's not listed on the menu, if you

Lol yeah, I think it's more about it being Re:invent. FWIW, I've been receiving a lot of pings on this stuff since I work on OpenTracing. So I think it's believable that this reached the top on its own.

An OpenTracing <> Aws X-Ray integration would rock. I work on the project and would love to collaborate with anyone interested.

For microservices based architectures, things like OpenTracing can go a long way in de-cluttering the clusterfuck. Of course, it requires developers being up to speed on distributed tracing, which isn't the case across the board. http

I definitely agree with this. So many products force a SaaS model when it doesn't fit the business. I find it especially when spas and massage services push a yearly subscription for discounts (not even units) on services. It doesn

Yes people, marketing debt is real. As someone who works on developer products, I see this happen all too often. People show up and ask me to "take over marketing" (I'm not even officially a marketer) and I am sort of like, i

I always suspected this! The products felt so different from when you break off an aloe leaf and use the goo. Feeling so vindicated right now :p

Haha, I thought the same thing! I kept reading, waiting for some pictures to show up. Nada. That said, at least I got through a well researched, historically accurate piece.

Interesting way to work on things. Effectively, I think the author is trying to get people to spend a lot of time self-studying in an organized fashion and then ask for help.

100% agree. I loved his short stories (including the one this book depicts). This was my first foray into sci-fi (if you can call it that, strictly) and it was awesome.

Same here! The weird thing is I didn't even receive my education in the US. I studied in India and we covered many world civilizations, including Iran to a certain degree. I guess this really is a forgotten wall.

I've never loved Jira but instrumented correctly it is 100x more powerful and useful than the lightweight Asanas, Trellos, etc of the world. It's really all about the instrumentation.
