This is where I'm at right now. We have 40000 items on the store and I'm writing an updater for it, and the entire official ecosystem is a dumpster fire. I've found some ok golang api clients which seem to do the trick so far

I agree. People complain about GMO seeds like crazy, then expect people are going to eat lab grown meat in large amounts? Also their obvious social media astroturfing is very on the nose. I don't like being gaslit when I ask questions

I find cable failures to be extremely rare. Are you pulling them out by the cable or the plug? Everyone I see who destroys cables pulls by the cable.

Add in the hidden ugly truth about ERP projects: they're more about the organisation changing to fit the ERP rather than the software serving the organisation

This comment feels like some misplaced copy pasta. It doesn't land right in the land of huge salaries paid to developers and other IT staff in the sectors that attract hacker news readers.

The main problem is when weighing these things is not blockchain advocate honestly asks the question: "why is this better than using a simple relational database, in a way that makes all the extra complexity worthwhile?"

The entire mtgox database was leaked and was googleable, with real names. You should be able to find yourself in it. I'm not sure you can still get approved as a creditor but have a go.

Impacting others? I started a Facebook group about a live stream for a falcon nest in Melbourne's CBD. It's had international news coverage and has been involved in a bunch of curriculums for schools around the world. Personally?

They will after January 2023. And yes... bitcoin has gone up a lot in that time. That doesn't mean the creditors are happy about their crypto being stuck on a bankrupt exchange for almost a decade. I have a small fortune in the civil r
