I was a participant in the Chromebook pilot program and I received a CR-48. When applying for the pilot program you had to agree that you wouldn't sell the device to anyone else (I don't know where the ToS for that is, but that was the gis

As one of the major contributors to FCEUX, I feel that the author is misrepresenting the code quality of FCEUX. To be fair, I'd say the code would rate about 1.5 or maybe 1 on said scale.

I don't see why a GNUstep application couldn't statically link the GNUstep libraries and include them in the application distribution.

For those that are unaware: http://www.gnustep.org/ I think libraries like Qt and GTK get a lot more development bandwidth because there are popular desktops built on top of them (KDE and GNOME, respectively). With the growing popularity

I'm sure that Dom could have posted some more embarrassing/humiliating pictures (ie: the girl picking her nose or something) but he kept it light and humorous. Good to see that some people have a sense of humor.

This is a really neat idea! It would be nice to see the editor widget be re-sizable (like an HTML text area) so that you don't have to deal with scroll bars for larger portions of text. Pretty impressive though!

I agree with you that there is a level of experience required for using wine on the command-line and tuning it to work for certain games. However, the PlayOnLinux project abstracts the details of setting up wine and configuring wine for ga

Even with your reasoning "Jedi Knight 2" and "Jedi Knight 3" were the games that were open sourced (Outcast and Academy). I would love to see Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight get open sourced by LucasArts however :)

The source code for the engine should compile without the assets. Or at least with some minor modification to the source tree. Take a look at these other commercial games who have released the source code of the engine but kept the assets

Seems like a neat idea, however I can't get any of the cheat sheets to load. Not sure if their servers are getting hammered or what, but all of the language cheat sheets show "Loading..." indefinitely for me.

Hi there, I've also run into this issue. I've opened an issue on your github: https://github.com/bombela/backward-cpp/issues/2 Thanks again for the really useful open source contribution! I will be integrating this with my C++ projects.

Interesting read. Another use I have found for "yes" is separating terminal output. Since "clear" doesn't delete your terminal scrollback, it can be easy to scroll up and get confused of what you are looking at. I've noticed this is espec

Thank you! I wasn't aware that these plugins existed already. While I was getting excited to get my "vim -D" on to get the script in the OP to work with svn, I might just work one of these plugins into my workflow. Thanks!

Your comment is somewhat self-contradicting. Baking plugins into firefox will increase Firefox's memory footprint. Plugins are plugins for a reason -- some people will want the functionality and others will not. How would you like to see
