You can hear them from quite far away since companies like X use on-site Methane Gas Turbine Generators because they don't want to wait for the grid capacity to catch up.

"I'm switching my phone from <free software> to <proprietary software>" Why not just use an Android AOSP distribution? SailfishOS is proprietary. It will be a lot more "locked down" than LineageOS/G

This seems like a strawmen. Most nuclear advocates I see online just want nuclear power given the same subsidies and chances that PV/Wind get.

Why would a carrier battle group be a prerequisite for this? Capital ships will have escorts anyways, the propulsion system doesn't matter.

Exactly. Companies like Anthropic do not want open access. See their FUD against "distillation attacks"

Yeah I agree, forcing large websites to respect client side parental control settings is better (let the OS/browser set a request header with the age bracket that the website uses)

This is wrong. The US did not give weapons to the Taliban (voluntarily). If you mean Operation Cyclone their receiver was not the Taliban but the mujahadeen, which, yes, consisted of Taliban, but also of enemies of the taliban (northern all

I dont think Forgejo will have a long term future unless they implement federation. When many project needs to have their own host anyways collaboration between hosts needs to be better.

You can use both hardware bound passkeys (where you may not even be able to read the secret so you probably would want to add multiple device passkeys to a site) or shared passkeys (where the private key can be synced through something like
