What is a "Islamic party"? Turkey is something like 96% Muslim population, so chances are, any particular cross section of society might just be called "Islamic" something, including the government.

At my Uni, engineering co-ops were just internships were you got paid, there was no commitment term. This is to differentiate from "traditional" internships, were you probably didn't get paid to work. But all this was 20 yr

If you have little or no work experience, then your prospective employer will focus on your education. Once you have more experience, then that is what matters the most. Some advice: internships and engineering coops are really great ways

I'll second that from personal experience, roofs are definitely an emotional decision. They can look great, be artsy, and even cover your house in the most visible of manners.

What about software in medical devices, or that touch medical data? How about software in control systems of vehicles, industrial machinery, robots, etc... Perhaps your definition of software is too limited.

Unless I'm remembering out of order, heXen/heretic had two axis aiming before quake. Doom being locked on one axis was a tad cheesy. Also which one of those had the Chicken Gun ;-) Another fun MP game was Rise of the Triad.

I think, in the US, the credit card "tax" is even higher for new businesses. As much as 6% I've been told. (Nice if someone could verify). You can use PayPal instead, they take a smaller cut, still 2%.

I disagree, with very large companies, you have no "local" sysadmin, and no local versions of anything. Especially if your IT department is actually its own company.

Side Note: news (to me at least) Cisco had acquired Open DNS late Aug. Now I'll have to read all the doco to see what impact (if any) there is for personal usage.

Here here, constant learning is the only thing to save our sanity. Regarding work, I do have a fulltime job, yet one has to fight hard to ensure any amount of learning, constant or otherwise.
