Here's an dirtier and easier way to do this: git -C {source_repo} format-patch -{number of commits} HEAD --stdout -- {absolute folder/file path(s)} > /tmp/new.patch git -C {target_repo} am < /tmp/new.patc

Cool. I would certainly use this on windows if I ever need to wrangle mp3s. On linux, puddletag provides a decent GUI for modifying audio file metadata. For bulk editing / transcoding, parallel with ffmpeg and (fd)find works very wel

Very cool! This is the first app I've seen that allows importing Kindle's clippings file. I like my Kindle but the software is very crummy. The font rendering is great, though. Noticeably better than KOReader.

The article is right: the low-tier tech jobs will likely not exist in a few years. These jobs mostly involve gluing APIs together. However, I think the assumed usefulness of humans can be slashed even further. Right now, LLMs interface wi

Here's a question for people who have experience with managing people in tech: How badly does this affect hiring? Note that the headline is a bit off, it's more of an IDE for AI 'Agents'. It's really a no-code pl
