Mallow is very common on farms and vacant blocks. Not overly ugly en masse at least. I think there might be a huge variety of thistle forms. You get the gamut from small and smooth up to the thicker, spikier ones as far as Scotch Thistles,

I’m in Adelaide and was thinking this week that agapanthus has to be the most socially accepted weed (or close enough) in town. I can appreciate the value of greenery in a dry location though. I have jasmine as a ground over and sour sobs t

"I would say our identity becomes what we are appreciated for." I think there's a lot of truth in this, and it's not something I've ever seen stated before. I guess it's a bit of a feedback loop. We want to f

What's the water level like coming down the rivers there? I'm not from the area, but looking on satellite views, there are what look like wetlands nearby, a shipping channel going past. No reservoirs in the immediate area. I quick

I find it a bit of a weird comment. As my city (outside the US) releases land bordering the outskirts of the suburbs for housing development, no one says "What's their plan for unsheltered folks?" They're releasing land

I'd say their plan is to build a lot of houses of varying sizes and styles. Most of the other methods you'd typically use to address homelessness (safety nets, mental health funding, drugs legalisation/treatment and the like)

I don't think the rooftop solar makes a dent in the vehicle's power needs, but maybe that changes with time. I've driven a lot of the US, a lot of national parks, and the driving is the trivial bit. Everything else is a pain,
