Three-hundred large for a model boat ? To me, it looks like a $3k boat that should be (over)priced at $30k. Maybe that is 'retail' and they'll knock fifty-grand off and sell it for the bargain price of a quarter-of-a-million dollars!

I had an Intel 32G X25-V value drive that failed and lost all its data. And then a Corsair drive that failed and I sent it back and they sent a replacement. I have a bunch of OCZ drives but so far I don't think any of them have failed. Ju

Isn't it fairly trivial to get around this patent? Instead of 'one-click' to scan a document and email it, just scan the document to a file and then attach the file to an email. Training employees to do this would cost less then $1000/empl

I don't think there could be a slimier company then Ebay. I wish Taobao would come to the US and crush Ebay like a Zhong Nan Hai cigarette butt. "Ebay may be a shark in the ocean, but I am a crocodile in the Yangtze River. If we fight in t

Well, let's give it a try. A better question is, who did the Postal Workers Union pay to get this tripe published? "What it is is a miracle of high technology and human touch. It's what binds us together as a country." Really?

The schematic is wrong, the relay and diode should be moved to be 'on top' of the transistor. But the circuit on the perfboard looks correct. The diode goes across the relay coil because when the relay coil is turned off, there will be an

Nope. Doesn't work that way. Don't get me wrong, I think merchant processing fees are outrageously high, and that merchants should be allowed to add a few percent for payment with credit cards, in order to encourage cash/debit card payment

TL;DR It's better to buy with a credit card, it costs nothing (individually), and you get benefits. There is a cost to society (everything costs a few % more), but I don't see that changing anytime soon. No, no ... no. The cost is not to

This post reads like a thinly-disguised ad for the "Phidgets SBC2", a $230 board similar to the $35 Raspberry Pi, but with a slower processor, less memory, and no HDMI output. It does have built-in IO, which you'd need an expansion board t
