On the flip side, I have a Netflix subscription I use for less than a movie a month, and about a 20 hour burst when House of Cards is back. I tried looking for better data than I quoted but there's not much :(

Only for development right? If you were someone that handled issues for the team, or depended on webhooks triggering builds, you were still blocked. I'm not trying to skewer Gitlab, I host an instance at home. I've also nuked 30%

Just to give you a counter point, I was in India recently, and most drivers I spoke to loved Uber. That could be a combination of the alternative sucking, general employer treatment of employees not being great, etc.

Are you sure? The non-competes about working for a competitor is un-enforceable, but what about the ones that ban directly approaching former colleagues?

From your tone (and seeing you're not American), I assume you think that was a frivolous case that shows how bad the American system is. I encourage you to read up a little more on that.

If you think that's all reddit is (text link, with up and down), you have to go use it a little bit. Subreddits, comments, self-hosted images, etc disagree.

I can vouch for the 200k number, I was earning slightly lower than that 4 years into the industry (before I left to work at a place where the RSUs are worthless before IPO). It wasn't anywhere near Google/FB level. But I disagree
