window.history is from the HTML 5 spec from 2011. It’s as native as anything else.

Remember how all those Gen X movies depicted cubicles as the embodiment of the soul crushing rat race. If only we still had it that good!

I’ve been the most productive in my life since I turned 30. For whatever reason my ADHD dissipated and my mood is level enough to just grind away at things that don’t have immediate gratification. My 20s was the perpetual crisis it seems.

I had a Motorola Atrix a decade ago that did this. It still looks extremely modern. Shame “phone as a computer” hasn’t really gone anywhere in all this time.

Very cool. I already started moving all my 2FA stuff out of Authy but guess it needs to be hastened now.

If we're talking about the 1990s, SQL Server/Sybase ran on UNIX. Not to mention it's just a fork of Ingres lol

Unironically: the fact that Microsoft has spent millions of man-hours building a complete alternative server ecosystem to UNIX/Linux continually blows my mind. Web servers, containers, virtualization, databases, languages, automation,

One of my recent jobs had a “library room” that was more form over function. It had books, and it was superficially like a library, but the actual purpose was just to be a “quiet area” for people to work. The book portion was just decoratio

What else is in Bentonville? Seems pretty risky, you’d basically be dependent on working at Walmart forever if there’s nothing else around.

I prefer using a mouse since they added support in iPadOS funnily enough. I can sit further away from the tablet instead of being hunched over it in a weird position. It's probably just because I'm old though.

Personally I think that would be a pretty hard sell. Writing custom code, presumably for things used in production, in a new language that isn't even at version 1?
