I hadn't put that idea together until your comment. I'm about the same age and only have a few more years before this "milestone" myself. Thanks for making me feel older hah.

You used the lowercase, it's cool we're all friends here in your intro. Then reverted to correct casing for the remainder. Disarmed everyone with that sly move. nice touch!

Their service doesn't support 5G on any Apple devices. My kids only have LTE on their iPads despite the modem having the capability. I will say that tethering on my phone works in a situation where LTE doesn't work well. However

In my experience this only happens when I am using Cloudflare DNS. Something about their geolocated resolvers is incompatible with how the archive team thinks they should be.

I had the same exact thought. I have been using a lot of Overture PETG which comes on cardboard spools. I found some printable wheel attachments that help solve some issues. But occasionally I find that the spools get tangled when retrac

I have two Bambu X1C with AMS. These are solid reliable appliances rather than hackable machines. I had a Prusa MK3S+ that always required a lot of fiddling to keep it working well. I replaced it with an X1C and do not miss my Prsua.

What is the source of these nasty docs? I am also working on a layer above pdfminer.six to parse tables. It seems like this task is never done. LLMs have had mixed results for me too. I am focused on documents containing invoices, incom

From my memory some of the big players require api license fees in the thousands per api. It was my understanding that these are to be paid by every implementor using their docs. How are you guys getting API access to build? Is this not re

I wish this was a thing back in 2012 when I was the technical co-founder of Rentlytics! We built our own integrations and it was terrible working with these systems. The docs were non existent and APIs limited in their capabilities to fur

At first I was very skeptical, but after looking further at the examples I feel like you pretty much nailed the developer experience. I have not used this yet but I will definitely check it out. Is there a roadmap? I see the GitHub projec

Reminds me of a co-worker who would spend between 3-5 hours a day messing with their vim config. I know we cannot actually write code for 8 hours a day, heck a 3-4 hour session can feel too long. But spending 15+ hours a week endlessly fi

Yes, that is the law. A nanny I employed in CA had put her two weeks in with us, then the last day of work she no-showed last minute. With two working parents you can imagine how well that was received. Anyhow, I told her to not come fin

I think most folks call this vacation. A lot of employers have unlimited vacation policies to minimize their employees time away from the keyboard. It's very generous of them! More seriously, taking time away is a good thing for any c
