Still don't believe it's at all an accurate account of the company. If it was accurate, I don't believe the author would be competent to write an accurate assessment of anything. I realize I'm sounding incredibly harsh

"Celolot currently has bad leadership, but with the right leadership, I believe it could eventually take over the CRM industry." - that is complete fucking bullshit . This guy is clearly delusional because he's in denial.

No offense, but if the only thing you do on Hacker News is complain that people don't hire you, you're probably a bad candidate.

More accurate: "people keep piling into a bug thread about one symptom with many possible causes for over a year".

This seems to ignore cost of living. A lot of the reason salaries are high in San Francisco is because rent is high, and rent is high because salaries are high. Just because people can make "more money" in San Francisco doesn&#x

Can I invoke Betteridge's Law of Headlines here? I don't believe "a guy who is sick and doesn't mention that he eats only white bread and American cheese" is a sign of a scurvy epidemic. In fact, I actively disbeli

What would this get Google other than some good publicity on Hacker News? Do they have a customer base that would use other Google Cloud offerings?

First of all, "cloud computing" is going to be a very low-margin business compared to ads. So comparing revenues doesn't mean very much. Second, pretty much every Google business other than ads could be described as "ru

If I'm not mistaken, this is all people who will make less money because of this change claiming that "some other people" will make less money because of this change. It would be considered "FUD" if it was a Silico

1600 employees and only $80 million in revenue? That's only $50k per employee, which seems very low for a company hiring that aggressively (+25%/quarter).

I don't think it's anything other than a bunch of marketing gobbledygook designed to get people to overpay for a computer.

Yeah. This seems like a calculated way for Volkswagen to make sure that nobody comes forward with anything, to "prove" that nothing else is happening. I mean, they even say you may still face criminal charges for coming forward.

My understanding is that every 36 miles, you have actual latitude/longitude lines as the boundary, and a few of the sections are adjusted slightly so the rest are 1 mile by 1 mile. (I don't remember the exact details)
