I'm curious how this classifies as "new html technology." Its letters being replaced by an images of letters in a different font. Text selection doesn't even work precisely due to the this archaic methodology. What am I missing?

Considering Dropbox doesn't do automatic upgrades (at least on a Mac it doesn't), you can always stay at an older version of the client where this new protocol isn't supported and thus Dropship still is valid. I doubt that Dropbox would eve

Again, that requires you to: A) move the files to the public folder B) watch out for bandwidth limits on the public folder C) give your Dropbox account ID to everyone as it is tied directly to the URL With this method, you get anonymous fil

I completely agree here. Hacker News has become a reddit cesspool over the last year and the types of posts popular on reddit seem to make it over here. I will leave this community in a year because I am sure the two communities will begin

Except for the fact that they force us college students at Cal Poly to do their tech write-ups for our Technical Writing class. iFixit is filled with a bunch of losers. Sorry for being blunt, but half their "how to"s are written by college

My friend created the EXACT same game for iPhone two years ago and they rejected it for the same reason. Interesting.
