I've found some great use cases for serverless. None of those have involved hosting a backend for a website / web application. It's been a useful solution for automating some cloud management tasks though.

I understand the claim. I know my experience is anecdotal but I think it's common enough that many people can relate. I don't really need empirical evidence for this one. I also think it's common sense that companies go out o

Shopping for appliances recently, I found that ALL available brands are pretty shit as far as reliability goes. It's basically a gamble. I've learned to avoid Samsung though because the circuit boards in them cannot be had for any

I've aced take homes and still been turned down for various nitpicks. A lot of times I think the person reviewing the code is looking for their pet preferences to be met rather than evaluating the potential of the candidate.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been an awesome venue for finding new friends. I highly recommend, plus you'll gain fitness and confidence.

IDK what radios they're using in Ukraine. US military radios have devices that sync to one another that rotate keys. Also the radios hop frequencies every couple of minutes. I think it's pretty much impossible to crack without the

You're not the only one. I'm sure Typescript is nice / better, but I don't feel like having yet another bullshit language foisted on me. Also I dislike Microsoft.

Vanilla Javascript is comfortable. I think I've pretty much given up on the JS ecosystem. I've been going back to web frameworks like Django / Rails / Laravel. Obviously not the solution for all things but most projects

When I was growing up in the 90s, I had a few LDS friends. My school had a ton of LDS kids for some reason even though I didn't grow up in an area that's known for them. These kids always described themselves as "mormon"
