Looks very interesting. Is there a published paper/article on your algorithm? Would like to take a dab at implementing this on my own. I could find this [0], but not sure if that represents the entire system? (Apologies, I am not that

Unfortunately some folks do get bit sensitive on rust, that can be off putting. But what I wanted to know was about evaluation with other languages, because Andreas has written complex software. His insight might become enriching as to shor

That is true for parsers like libjs, but again crypto module or even networking, can still be written in spark, which is much more safety critical.

Not the case with spark. But I understand it requires writing lot of things from scratch for browsers. But I don’t think portability will be an issue with Ada, it is cross platform. However, this is where d shines. D has a mature ecosystem.

What kind of response is this? I was asking if there was any technical evaluation on other languages. And D and Ada are not niche. They have been battle tested in critical software.

Is there any discussion on why D or even Ada was not considered? These languages have been around for long time. If they were willing to use llm to break the initial barrier to entry for a new language, then a case can be made for these la

Not as a daily driver but to make sure a software has wide support, not all users update their phone frequently. Also, many web features do not require using the latest in browser features. And just to be clear, I was poking fun at this so

> I don't believe someone can understand the problem, and make _this_ in good faith. This is an extremely aimless rant. Simply claiming group policies are not enough for an average user or at the very least is not a good start, is m

I have to start from somewhere. I don’t mind the grind. I am fascinated by networking. Will begin with beej guide, and go from there.

Slightly off topic, but if I want to understand the concepts discussed in this article, what all topics should I learn? Is this a good starting place or enough to understand everything in this article - https://beej.us/guide

Can’t these changes be still done? Maybe within 5-10 yrs these “mistakes” will deprecate eventually.

Can you also consider adapting Linux from scratch as a part of this series? Or Maybe after this series, you can expand what is learnt to build a minimal Linux distribution. I suppose that might give a good understanding on how to apply this

The other day, another os - tiny core Linux - was posted. Today this, I really wonder what is the trade off? Day to day use, security, and something else surely will be missing?

You don’t need an extension to do this. Simply add a “before:” search filter to your search query, eg - https://www.google.com/search?q=Happiness+before%3A2022

I hope you will continue maintaining a mirror in GH. Some tools like deepwiki are excellent resources to learn about a codebase when their is not much documentation going around. But these tools only support pulling from GH.
