Get covered on another blog and get someone to submit the URL? Honestly, I think you'll be better served thinking about how to create a repeatable process for acquiring customers rather than worrying about one time traffic hits from HN

Heroku is amazing, hands down. It's a shame you don't give them credit for all they've done for web app developers.

In the short term taxing the rich seems like the only viable solution. But just give it some time. Skill acquisition via free online courses will replace high cost universities. This alone will solve most of Krugman's problem. Entr

Come up with an idea for a web app and struggle to build it. You'll learn what you need to know as you go along, plus a lot more.

I went back at 27 and did post-bac courses to earn the equivalent of a minor in CS. I also taught myself python/django, js/css, basic database theory, and how to use heroku. Now I have a web app with paying customers. There might be other

Good for you for offering this. For what it's worth, this would be more valuable if you expanded to python/django and ruby/rails. Yes, you can scrap something completely, but it's also helpful if scrapping isn't required. Anyway, keep it

Spending time preparing your answers to these seemingly trivial questions can have a big impact. "How's it going?", "What do you do?", and "Tell me about yourself." are three great questions to spend a few hours thinking about. It's worth

I can see how it has application to very small micro needs like this, but seriously....is this what all the 3d printing hype is about? With all the hype I read from VCs, you'd think 3d printers are the next personal computer. I'm really t

What would you do with a 3d printer in your house? For manufacturing and business use, it kind of makes sense to me. But personal use? After you print off a few cups and toy soldier molds, what would you want to do with a 3d printer?
