But it's not that easy. It's one thing to add a missing feature to a Ruby gem or event to jQuery, but WebKit is a much bigger beast. Most geeks can't realistically patch things in a big heap of C++ code like that...

You can sign ipa files with your developer (private) key. There's an app called InstaSign that I use for "testing" apps before purchasing them. You download a cracked version, sign it with your own key (so iPad thinks YOU have created this

Here's an idea: always pipe ls throug a pager! If it's less than a page, it would just print the results (you have to set some flags on less that I don't remember). If it's more, then press d or /term-to-search :)
