The 747 is aviation’s Taj Mahal — revered not only for its history but its sheer beauty, which in all the years since its introduction has not even come close to being matched.

I think addressing the perception gap is part of this. No doubt that a lot of people equate "Southern accent" with "stupid." I've seen many lists of "Top 20 black engineers" or "Rising female executiv

Huh, thanks, I think I’m starting to get it. Is it that the connection-based model needs the data “copied” into each user’s stream on the server-side while the “stash the files in a bin” stateless model allows the networking hardware to cac

This isn’t for consumer streaming — those people will still use Twitch. This is for people building things like corporate meeting software for which the users will never be close to 20,000 concurrent and the costs of $30k don’t even get loo

A lot of people would rather use 20 mediocre products from one vendor than 20 fantastic products from different vendors. I’m like this with Target —- I don’t want to go to multiple stores so I limit my household items to things that Target

Totally true that people with no self-doubt/impostor syndrome overperform their ability level in whiteboard interviews compared to people with more self-doubt, who are often the better engineers. I am personally a beneficiary of this.
