Did you even read the article? > The Pentagon said the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) detected the object over Alaska late Friday evening. U.S. fighter jets from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, monitored the ob

Maybe "they" have been here all along.

That’s funny, because this was my exact thought. How can they distinguish the difference when they say ‘unknown’ object…

What's in Tacoma that would warrant a 45-minute drive?

I wish there was a chatGPT that cited its sources, or just spat out a bunch of links instead of giving an "answer."

Any tips for putting it on the wall in a relatively neat fashion? I want to hang more stuff on my walls in general, but I care about appearance.

Yeah, for that compensation? No question. I'd maybe try and stay a little while past 5. Not sure how many months (years?) I'd last there though, not knowing how 'intensive' the work culture is.

I feel like the gains are becoming smaller, at least in terms of stuff that interests me. I was happy to get the OLED screen on my iPhone 12. It's still running strong and have no plans to upgrade for at least another few years.

iPad has an increasingly narrow use-case now that phones are so big and displays are so good (imo). The only reason I got an iPad was to take notes for class, which it exceeds at very well. It feels like writing on paper, almost. And I&#x

I would quit, but I'm currently a student and pay $7.49 monthly, which is worth it to me because in addition to the delivery times, I find some value in prime video. If I wasn't paying that rate, I would quit, because it just isn&

Yeah, noticed the same thing. The image seems more consistent with a shipwreck than anything else (at least according to my quick image search).

+1 for the interiors. I'm doing car shopping right now, and this is the type of thing I've been looking for. I wanted a way to visualize the approximate height difference of sitting in the cabin of a CUV vs sedan.

Some tail lights now blink when the brakes are applied. Kind of jarring whenever I see it, but maybe that's the point.

Slightly unrelated, but I do this for everything involving my personal finances. All of my credit cards have mobile apps that instantly push notifications whenever they are used. My bank app sends me notifications for any withdrawal or depo

Nearby to me is the Microsoft HQ campus. Few miles away is Amazon, not to mention most every other major software company. Even SpaceX has an office here. My home has one available ISP, and that's Comcast. I pay monthly for 100/30

I'm late under different circumstances. My first class in the morning, I'm usually always at least a few minutes late. It's a bad habit. Later classes, since I'm already on-campus, I find it really hard to be late, and a

I'm sort of OCD about open tabs. I close them whenever I'm finished (or think I'm finished). Worst case scenario, I open the browser history and navigate back to what I wanted. This doesn't happen very often. If somethin
