No one ..start of 2013 you will be able to get it with a mobile contract in the UK.. so not 8gbp and who knows why they banded about that figure then. Future looks bright, though. FTA; "The catch You won’t be able to get the txtr beagle as

Considering it lists usb3 and 1.7GHz, both of which are unique to Ex5, i'm pretty certain that must have just been a mistake.

And yet everyone goes on about an ipad being a 'cheap laptop alternative'. This isn't for everyone, but it definitely has a great niche. It has USB3, HDMI, 1366x768 screen, no moving parts and 6.5 hour battery life. Putting the time differe

I agree it is very confusing to figure out the exact intent from the text. In the model i suggested you would look up and input a code that referred to a song, and it would start the recorder when that song was played (working like traffic

It is easy to think of this from today as something like spotify or usenet, but in many ways it does not sound so far from MTV (1981) with PDC[0] and a PDC tape recoder. He appears to describe a system of music streams which could be subscr

This is more 'dissecting the landing page'. Paul's comment there was by far the most interesting part. I was looking for more of a how people got to the site etc.. but i suppose it was mostly just [YC] > [HN/Reddit] > [TechCrunch] &

Kickstarter is definitely the existing sole-arbiter of crowd sourcing funding. They have brought massive crowds to YC companies so i think it is a significant move to walk away from that to save 5%.

I agree the problem of ultrabooks is price.. they are far more expensive than the previous generation of ultra-portables. I see this as just like the tablet market was; trying not to knock down the high price apple had set. But an iPad does

From what I have seen hard drives are pretty much back to pre flood prices now in $/GB terms, there has just been 18 months of price progress gone. Meanwhile SSDs have done a hell of a lot of catching up.

IIRC 'bic' is used primarily in France. These companies trying to stop the use of their name seem crazy to me (unless they are 'complaining' just to get some more press). So much promotion.
