I would immediately put a X mark on a company which asks as stupid interview questions as those... Thats not how you look for developers with passion - people that care about you as a customer and want to solve your problems the best way po

Migrations like these take time and happen step by step. First you can try to replicate some data and move read instances. After that step by step the rest. Its really not possible to do that overnight or months even. Fyi: im currently migr

I live in Poland and we are the lungs of Europe, still air is polluted as hell.. i dont wanna think how bad it is in other countries. And its not so easy to move out if you dont have enough of money.

I would advice reading "Software Craftsman" by Sandro Mancuso. It contains a chapter about hiring "craftsmen" (best kind of developers). And many things from the article check out in regards to that.

Majority of ppl dont really know what they want from life and need someone to tell them that. The reason why so many are depressed and unhappy no matter what they do.

Unfortunety the moment the person you explained that to understood it. 50 new young developers joined the bandwagon of "download everythink, think later".. Thats the issue with frontend.

I think currently front end development becomes a bit messy. One could compare it to a wild west. And most likely its caused by misusage of javascript. Typescript is now just a "lets learn less competent ppl how to write frontend"

You try to mix psychological concepts with pure biological ones. Those values are burnt so deep in our DNA that something we comprehend with our mind like "gender" has nowhere near the same magnitude of impact.

Captain Obvious here: Its not that we are a lot more tolerant towards race/orientation but rather humans being vastly intolerant towards anything that is biologically negative. Our brain is programmed by thousends of years of evolution

Teaching is hard, unfortunetely we dont value good teachers as much as we should. Thus they quit. My mom is a teacher and she loved her work, her students also loved her. But the atmosphere in schools is now so bad, not many can take it.
