Why not generate two values from the underlying function and shift them into place if the range is larger than 2^32 -1? Oh well, ofc. because this is PHP which goes by the principle of most surprise.

Something related - you can upload special files such as /dev/urandom to websites that expects a normal file. Now interestingly a lot of sites only checks the filesize after the upload has completed. This means that a lot of sit

The funny thing is that it probably has the potential to become so well known that people forget its roots, and then people wouldn't get the original joke in that Simpsons episode anymore.

I did it in PDF by manually writing a custom tint transformation function. I used a 16x16 image with grayscale values from 0 to 255 and split the values in nibbles in the function code (which is a limited subset of postscript without things

IANAL, but can't github still be sued in India where the DMCA doesn't apply? GitHub is doing business in India as well, so wouldn't they be subject to the jurisdiction of an indian court?

That and the DMCA does not apply in India, they are just abusing the system.

There's some special handling when loading the image where it does different things depending on the value of the subsystem field, but I don't know whether there's any special handling in the kernel that can't be duplica

AFAIK this is how fork() is implemented in SUA, but I haven't tried it myself. You could load the SUA subsystem dll into IDA Pro and see how they actually do it.

It is possibly to fork on Windows by using ZwCreateProcess directly, however the win32 subsystem and every single thirdparty library you are using does not expect this. If you are only using the NT native api then it should work just fine

Uhm you can throw diophantine equations after Z3 which certainly isn't a decideable problem. I have no idea whether it errs on the side of termination (i.e. not giving an answer) or non-termination (i.e. running forever).
