I disagree. It seems he might have died fighting for a cause. We might do well to serve his memory by thinking about and understanding his cause. To do otherwise would be to admit that we can change nothing.

Okay so now we get down to the root of your problem. You are underpaid. The 200k+ salaries are out there, it is up to you if you want to go get them.

Offshore banking with 100k?!? You are off by several orders of magnitude there.

He is talking about a phd, a masters is an absolutely terrible investment, and strong negative hiring signal whenever I see it, unless it was done strictly to immigrate to the US.

Why would any country agree to this if others do not? And it is a big advantage to be able to outwork your competitors so there will always be holdouts.

Wow, for your own good don't listen to this guy. Just put it in equities.

Not to mention that in the industry I am in people will tell you the exact opposite about people. It makes sense, you want your worst people to work for competitors, and your best people to not.

I am confused by your point. Would you rather sick people come into work and get even more people sick?

Yep this seems pretty standard in general. Specifically companies will state a expected salary, and then when giving a lower offer explain it as a lack of experience or qualifications. I had one company lowball me, and try to make up for it

Wow that is somewhat surprising. I work at hedge fund, what one might consider a fairly stogy industry, and nobody cares when I come in to work, which is 9 or 10 usually.

This to me is a silly idea, as I am confident that if you let me follow any person, or work in any company for a day, I could find laws that they are breaking. Everybody breaks laws, and nobody wants to have the passenger in their car repor

Presumably you also have other tests that you run the code on too, that are not sent to the candidates right? That would save some time, say if the code passes all 10 tests sent to the person, and fails all 20 tests that you keep for yourse

How is making a returning a new dynamic array worse than doing a O(n^2) implementation? The former would be perfectly fine in production, the slight increase in memory use is negligible, the n^2 solution would lead to me wanting to fire sai
