This would be a great thing to have "open" so that any flight software can consume the feed of no-fly areas and adhere to them. It could either be self-imposed or required by law but either way it would go a long way to improving

I'm from the UK and I've only ever seen "Bummer" as a mild disappointment. That one person was probably just looking for things to complain about.

I know of at least one tech company using slack as a support channel. It's not a great experience for the user at all. I love slack as a company communications platform but I totally agree that it's not well suited to being used a

I'm pretty sure they learn that if they look at us we'll try to fix their problems for them. I think the whole "training" thing goes both ways with dogs and humans. My dog has trained me to let her back into the house wh

This just disgusts me deeply. Is there nowhere on earth that is safe from humanity's greed and disregard for the planet we depend on for our lives. In some ways I hope we never go intergalactic or even leave our solar system - perhaps

Why does every mention of a phone camera have to be iPhone? Can some people not separate phone from iPhone any more?

Just set you MMS settings to something that looks valid (so the phone will accept them) but non-working. There is then no way it's going to download 'em.

It's certainly not popular in the UK. It's just too expensive. It costs ~ £0.50 per mms to send so people will just use email / facebook / whatsapp / whatever.

It takes very little effort in php. You simply have your index.php and any public assets in the document root and then use index.php as a bootstrap to bring up your application. Everything else goes outside of the document root.

Task switching absolutely kills my productivity but I think that may be down to procrastination. I procrastinate more than I would like and once I've gotten myself going I need to keep momentum. If something kills that momentum - like

Very much the same in the UK as well. Most folk will try to avoid going through insurance. I'd rather be out of pocket for a few hundred £ than pay extra on insurance for the next few years.

Their phone agents insist that the page is "totally secure and safe to enter your personal details". The link provided is from their main website and is clearly not secure. How on earth can they get away with this?

Finding this has just made my whole (not great) week better by a huge degree. I've played with it on a workbook with ~100k rows and the performance is fantastic. I'm really excited!

Really nice effect - I can see this being used on galleries / profiles, etc. What is with the weird scroll behaviour on this page, though? It will refuse to stay where I put it and keeps jumping to odd snap points after a few seconds.

I think "new technology" is a bit of a stretch. It's just not really done because it has very little benefit. I think a lot of people also don't like the idea of all their typos and "actually I won't send that&
