I noticed that too. I'm thinking about adding a prompt to disable those tests. We have the unit and feature tests anyway: add to them. I'm OK with the syntax checks: I work with interpreted languages, Ruby, JS, Python.

Of course we can code without a LLM, but if we want to, as the sibling comment says, don't run a local LLM on a laptop. I'm offloading the LLM to the LLM vendor, like most of us IMO. The CPU is still busier then it used to be, bec

Because the local LLM, which you are not running, is running for much longer than gcc and is eating the battery. Different choices, different outcomes.

Maybe they don't like swimming. I don't. However it's really rare that I end up on a beach. Four times in the last 7 years? The first beach of them really deserved some pictures.

I really didn't know about Polarsteps. It's been a while since my last long journey. I used to select some pictures when I got back home and upload them to both my website and Facebook (the only time in the year I still used FB.)

The guidelines I remember are no parentheses for DSLs, e.g. the Rails validation methods or the associations, and parentheses for the other methods.

In my experience agentic sw development delivers if you are not too picky with the details or if you don't notice what's not done according to your instructions. If you want exactly what you had in mind, the last 10% might last a

Or drivers prefer buying a Honda. They might not notice that they are the same cars. They should have interviewed a sample of the buyers but they are probably unable to do it. And then there is the matter of the price. The links in the post

The speaker icon would be handy but I think that it depends from both the good will of Firefox and the installed add ons. Of course if an add on blocks the audio file there is no need to display the speaker icon for that file. To give you t

I think that Comcast is a USA only service so have no idea of what people watch or listen to on Comcast. But above all, why do they need a consultant to do the switch? There is more to it than a credit card and a subscription?

Of course Apple will close the Store and make apps impossible if they could not extract their fee. That was the plan with the original iPhone and HTML only web apps in its browser. Then they got a more profitable idea. For the apps to go aw
