This is by far the nicest solution out there. All the others, plex, etc are resource hogs that want to transcode everything, unlike minidlna, which can run on a router, if needed, without docker, or all that jazz. People might not like it b

FreeBSD has jails if you need lightweight vms. The kubernetes monoculture is a horrible thing for long term.

I've tried it all: Jellyfin, plex, Emby. They all want to transcode all the time. I ended up going back to minidlna, with a layout of images/etc it likes, combined with an android app called BubbleUpnp, and it's better, than

I just left Kagi. At first, it looked very nice, but for some reason, in a few weeks both Google and ddg gave me much better results. The new g web filter is actually quite good as well.

No, they aren't. You need 5.1 or 5.2v, otherwise you get stability issues. Learnt that the hard way.
