You don't need to understand something to destroy it. You don't need to master something to wreak it. Sadly, our ignorance is doing both.

It is so stupid that we have this concept that managers should maximize shareholder value as if they are the only stakeholders in a company. Really and truly what did the current shareholders do for YHOO on a daily ongoing basis? The curren

You are attacking the wrong people. Prop 13 applies to business real estate as well. This is the true problem. Before Prop 13 business was paying 2/3 of the property taxes now business is paying less than 1/3. The problem isn'

I hope the Uber drivers do unionize. The concept of uber: use your own car to make extra cash is an interesting one. The business execution deserves to be buried.

The buck stops with the captain. Fairness has nothing to do with it. It is the captain's job to train his crew and keep his ship safe -- no matter what.

It doesn't matter. It is the captain's job to not sink his ship. It is the captain's job to not damage the pier, the reefs, etc. The same rules apply when flying a plane. It is the pilot's responsibility to not be in a c

I used meteor for 2 years professionally. The issue that you raise is less important with meteor because updating the server code updates the client code.
