So yeah, let's all go back to the stone age just because of some purist morons with JS disabled. In my honest opinion, the only possibility browser vendors should disable these days is the possibility to turn JS off.

It's underrated, actually. Don't trust polls-on-payroll.

Have you ever tried Atom? Its interface is written in HTML5 + CoffeeScript, and it targets CoffeeScript as the primary language. Tell the GitHub guys about tooling... But besides, judging a language based on available tooling is akin to jud

Wow. Facebook had managed to fail on a thing absent in much less popular sites since the day one. A CDN absolutely mustn't allow a user to browse to a file with a different extension than it was uploaded with. It must return 404 in thi

Cool! Microlibraries FTW, and I see requestAnimationFrame is used, so it must be more performant than most other similar libs. Definitely will try it out. Kudos!

All JavaScript libraries (!) should be authored in JavaScript. All complex code that uses them should be authored in CoffeeScript. Nothing more is needed. P.S. TypeScript is M$ invention -> must burn in hell.

You cannot enhance Bootstrap itself easily. Moreover, you cannot rewrite any core functionality clearly done wrong. I don't need a widespread virus called jQuery, I want to write pure JS, and I definitely have no need in that virus to

Understood everything about it, except this: Could you please calculate what does it weigh minified in ready-to use ES5 state? I'd like to compare it to some other ready libraries and my own solution.

Some questions: - Why ES6/ES2015? - What are the advantages over Knockout? - Why does it weigh so much if its only ability is two-way data binding? And probably the most interesting question: - Why the heck do I need to use Browserify

I would love to check it out, if only your page didn't hang my Firefox. It's really impossible to scroll. Lags are ~10-15s. Hardly even closed the tab. What's going on there? Was it really written with performance in mind? :)

I started with C (and got pretty good at writing some cryptography in it), then studied Perl (a bit), then Python (2.6 to 2.7), then PHP (5.4 to 5.6) and now I'm totally into JavaScript and CoffeeScript. Am I a n00b? Just don't pa

I thought yet another JS/CSS asset manager for Node.js already existed, and it was called Grunt. Then Gulp. Then Brunch. And still not enough... Just kidding, nice small project. I'll stick to Grunt though.
