Agreed. Much like the conversation about Google censoring at the behest of the Russian government yesterday it all boils down to the money. Don't mess with the revenue stream. If you do, be prepared to be let go. It's that simple.

I'm not too sure about that. Having a HAM radio license would allow you to transmit on bands licensed for HAM usage. A lot of the stuff that people want SDRs for (especially for transmitting) lies outside of those bands.
