How do you short ? You short by borrowing a stock, and selling it. Why would lending it instead of selling it be a naked short ?

No. Person A has 100 stocks. Person B wants to short the stock. So Person B, borrows 50 stocks from person A and sells it to person C. The float is now > 100%.

Given that when a SPACS find a merger target you can chose either to invest in it or get your money back with interest, I'm not sure how the SPAC could ever be worthless.

Yes. SPACS are not stocks, not sure what the other replier is talking about (they're SPVs). If a SPAC doesn't find a company to merge with you get your money back and some interest. If a SPAC finds a company, you have the choice t

Freedom of speech does not equate to freedom of consequences. Obvious example being standing in a cinema and yelling fire. Trump isn’t being banned because of his views, but because he has continued to violate Twitter’s T&C.

Not unlimited. Your losses shorting a stock are capped at the price you borrowed it for (though technically it could be unlimited if you have to continue paying borrowing costs if you can't buy a share and close out your short [1]). [1
