I would imagine a majority of hours on this were product managers doing evaluation rather than engineers writing code. Even if those PMs came from Twitter I can't imagine their insights being particularly proprietary.

The argument is not that the definition of wine is malleable (which it definitely can be without falling down your slippery slope), but that being picky about the definition misses the point of the Eucharist entirely.

The title here is in line with HN guidelines but does a disservice to the actual article as it suggests the criticism is far more abstract than it actually is. It rises in direct response to specific use by Polish political actors.

I want this to be true, but is it actually relevant here? The previous Boeing CEO had his bachelor's and graduate degrees in engineering and made decisions that were bad for both business and engineering reasons.

I think the idea is that it costs much more labor and energy to fully recycle a battery pack than to repurpose it, and you can always do the recycling later on. If you're suggesting the time, energy, and safety and compromises required

In the medium and heavy vehicle industry one of the big discussions is on reuse of batteries at economic EOL. The idea is that after maybe 600 charge cycles a vehicle-sized battery will have a lot of life left but will no longer support the
