A few years ago there was a slew of articles about storing energy by lifting and stacking heavy blocks of concrete. I have no idea how efficient those designs are compared to hydro storage but I imagine they solve a problem for regions wher

At the scale of individual neurons, or clusters of neurons, would the performance of human brain cells significantly differ from that of a pig? or house fly? Those would be some interesting LLM performance benchmarks to see.

I agree with you, however when talking about jobs that are relegated to the physical world like the trades, I dont think it safe to assume that robotics wont also benefit from the AI advancements. Thereby eventually encroaching on those job
