Surprised that generation who named themselves slackers gave birth to kids that also don’t have any vision and take pride in not caring about anything? Also the group is so varied you can’t generalize of what the age group is about. If I th

I appreciate the worry for everyone else. Truly it makes a huge difference in global politics. Like parent I am still surprised how paranoid the US seems. It’s almost like growing up overprotected you become extremely fearful. There is almo

And who would ever even attack the US? Massive military spending and they are isolated from all the potential enemies behind two huge oceans. Average american should worry about civil war or maybe nukes. Nothing else will ever reach them.

I love The Beatles. My favorite band maybe. Yet this year in Grammys the rock awards went to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Makes me sad. Although I can appreciate and consume ”old” culture there is something important in that the cutt

I don’t think US government controls social media like china, but after the constant news about all the social media CEO’s hanging out with the president I am not surprised many people start to get a feeling that something is up.

I don’t think chess is a good example of AI destroying the path to the top. Chess is more popular now and humans keep advancing even though it is futile effort against computers.

First movies written post chat-gpt will hit the theatres. This does not mean that GPT was used to write the films, but there is some AI elements stuffed in there. Recognizable AI video-gen artifacts start to be used as visual cues in scifi,

That is a moving target. I could be 17 today and 18 tomorrow. Also it is not feasable to make all the different variations of ID but they do give out single one with all the info. [1] https://ethresear.ch/t/zero-knowledg

If you have digital id signed with government keys (like passport) you would prove that person has ID where the age is above 18, attached to this photo and that all the info comes from a single government sanctioned id. You don’t need to co

Where can I read more about this? If this was a fact I think people would be way more excited about cryonics. Casually browsing wikipedia suggests that we are not there yet with the ability to thawn large animals or even organs.
