Come now, it wouldn’t be a normal HN conversation on octopuses if we didn’t debate whether to eat them or not.

I live next to Baltimore and somewhat frequently you hear about a body fished out of the Inner Harbor. Just like in The Wire. Though I’m sure every city on a body of water experiences the same thing.

Just being facetious but maybe they didn’t like the movie you put on? I don’t know, I glance at my phone even when it’s a movie I like. Many of us doom scroll HN during the day, from a socializing perspective is that any better than social

Also agree it's 100% the responsibilities/feeling guilty syndrome. But I'm basing this on my personal experience only. I suffer from bouts of anxiety and depression. I also like to partake in cannabis. If I'm feeling dep

Three years ago, when Air Pods Max came out I recall seeing comments on HN about the anticipation of seeing people wear their big bulky expensive headphones on a plane. I was embarrassed for a while to wear mine in public or in video calls.

Your critique is totally spot on. I can’t stomach Shyamalan’s current movies. Oddly though despite the cheap plot twist and how much it got made fun of in the media at the time, I love The Sixth Sense. I still watch it to this day. The scen

FWIW not Google but have my child at a Kiddie Academy, and turnover is abysmal..monthly sounds right. And yeah they do class transfers by age and abrubtly so. And they’re in one room all day, though when it’s over 50 degrees they’ll go outs

Interesting, wasn’t previously aware of Vendetta. I feel like all conversations about eradicating roaches need to distinguish between 1) getting rid of german cockroaches and 2) getting rid of any other cockroach. I’ve had less success with

The post isn’t American specific per se. Poster is just implying that people on porn sites are in essence sex slaves. It’s slight sarcasm. At least that’s my take.

Recommend checking out ASC and Aural Imbalance for modern takes on amen/GLR sound. They release under the Auxiliary label (search Bandcamp for them). A lot of DnB heavyweights are starting to bring back the 90s “intelligent” dnb sound
