In my experience with ES, definitely don't treat it as a source of truth; allow it to be rebuilt.

The financial read cost of this database makes it practically unusable for customer facing dashboards, disappointing.

I think JWT are supposed to help here, allowing other services to self validate signed credentials instead of always reaching out to the external service.

Is this a marketing problem? You mentioned ~1000 visitors to your store page, I'm not surprised there are no sales yet. Good luck and don't be too disheartened, you've already put in the large amount of work needed, now just

As a former hipchat customer atlassian just totally missed the mark. The updates they put out for Hipchat during slacks rise were new emojis.

I hate AMP. Here's my AMP experience on reddit: 1) Click on an AMP link by mistake in google results 2) Get annoyed at the less-functional AMP experience to read reddit (limited replies on AMP page, no JS expansion, etc) It's also

I hate AMP as well. They’re less maintained, feature less pages (see reddit), and they have obnoxious script that prevents hold-tap from allowing “open in new window” from working.

I've ran into similar frustration getting an exe certificate. In one example, the provider needed to check I was a legitimate business, by seeing if I was in the phone book -- so I just registered online, called them back, they saw it

I'm keen for 2 vCPU (but faster) with 450GB+ SSD; these new ones are a bit too expensive for that much SSD without going up in vCPU, but a good start.

Network disks really are terrible in comparison, even the super charged expensive ones (io volumes). Local SSD is just orders of magnitude faster if you need a fast place to put temporary (or replicated) data.

A suggestion for production database access, create a readonly login (in addition to a write one). Login using the readonly login the majority of the time, and only switch to the write login when required.
