Meanwhile on something really worth reporting: "one thing I want to say again: fantastic work on all the bugfixing that has happened of late - the new 1.6 branch is awesome" https://discord.com/channels/371759

Same ideas are used in Nim's incremental compilation (wip) https://github.com/nim-lang/Nim/tree/devel/compiler/ic Also there are two JSON implementations with a flat architecture https:/&

What that even means? Just random words. unsafe block is just an illusion and doesn't prevent any bugs. Don't get me started on the cult that shames repos that use it.

Thank you for your kind words sir. I didn't expect it. And I am sorry for your lost time. But I hope the situation improves.

Very mature, congratulations! Naming has nothing to do with style insensitivity. You can write M_ya_wse_s_omEv_ar in any language, yes? Proof that you don't understand what you're arguing about.

@Nullabillity The only nonsense we are dealing with constantly is opinions of people who haven't ever bothered to use this feature before declaring it "inconsequential nonsense".

There are warnings raised by default, like this: test.nim(2, 8) Hint: 'myvar' should be: 'myVar' [var declared in test.nim(1, 7)] [Name]

I have extensively used Nim for the past 6 years, and it has never been an issue. I have seen codebases where someone wrongly capitalized a variable identifier, which results in a compiler warning being raised. So no harm done.

I would find it easier to believe if 1. there was a sample, 2. you claimed that the extra 15 lines are just {} indentation. Btw here is the same build script in nim https://github.com/planetis-m/raylib-game-template

No more GC in Nim now there is an optional cycle collector https://nim-lang.org/blog/2020/12/08/introducing-orc.html it also offers experimental view types.

Friend nim does have gc less memory management https://nim-lang.org/blog/2020/10/15/introduction-to-arc-orc... and can also collect cycles similar to PHP. Imo the new system is more intuitive than rust&#

Ideally I would prefer working using a language that I am most comfortable with like Nim. The interface with C++ is pretty good. It's also easy to learn and onboard into a team. Wish it was more popular.
