Ckan works for me if it’s a different mod manager you use. I’ve been using it for like at least 5 years without issue.

I don’t doubt that there has been extensive testing on radiation but knowing exactly which atoms and molecules are essential for the human body to sustain life and the corresponding energy levels at which those atoms and molecules ionize is

I don’t know if my experience was far outside the norm but I don’t really think of legendary office perks from Amazon. We had free drip coffee (not espresso) from Starbucks and that was it.

The traditional Amazon desks are typically a piece of wood cheaply fastened to four legs. Think less ornate wood desk and more something a beginner might do as a one day diy project to get into woodworking.

My friends and I used to do the same thing. Even without drawing your body in while spinning the momentum and height make it possible to pretty easily flip off the swing. Thanks for reminding me of this memory :)

Honestly I’m not seeing much point in even living nowadays with prospects so bad. I’ll give it like maybe another month or two but after that I’m out. The amount of suffering being laid off has caused me in my life is just not worth it.

Without fail when someone asks me internationally where I’m from and I say the US they inevitably ask what state. Saying the state merely short circuits a follow up question that, in my personal experience, is likely to happen.

Here’s the reasonable argument: US citizens are now used to .gov domain names being solely used by US government entities. They won’t change it, nor should they, as forcing domain name changes will simply add confusion for Americans. Just b

You can rephrase this question in terms of causality. Why does it matter that we know if some process happens before some other process at some defined(?) level of precision. There are ways around this but they are restrictive or come at th

Why should I trust the CEO who was just recently caught in a lie about blackmail despite evidence to the contrary and in the past has straight up edited people’s comments without any notification that Reddit is responsible for the edits?

C has plenty of macro use doesn’t it? Even something as simple as a doubly linked list is implemented with lots of macros in the Linux kernel AFAIK.

C is not what I would call a very readable language. I don’t think you could drop someone who newly learned C and have them be effective looking at glibc for example.

I’ve written a chip 8 emulator in both C and Rust and the Rust one is definitely more clear, and with destructured pattern matching you can really cleanly decode the opcodes in Rust: https://github.com/plan-x64/chip8&#x
