What is click bait about the title? The article does indeed attempt to document the general process for intercepting a ICBM.

My second favorite book I read this year was Sapiens which is also really good in case anyone is interested. I mention it because AFAIK, the book the person I’m responding to recommended is a follow-up of sorts.

Also in fairness, what trust has Comcast built with consumers? Why should I not believe that a company would attempt to make more money if possible?

How did we chose this? The person who appointed the FCC commissioner has no mandate. The majority of people didn’t vote for him. The FCC is on record saying that they won’t listen to comments from citizens. We the majority have NO voice.

Comcast has a very slow lane for all BitTorrent traffic (they effectively blocked it back in 2007/2008) until the FCC died them to not do that. You’re argument is probably false. The fears are real we’ve seen ISPs provide tired bandwid

I would say it was rather irregular that my grandma, who has been dead for several years, thought net neutrality was such a burden on society that she just had to reach out past the grave to let her opinion (that happens to be verbatim the

In the US ISPs have local monopolies / duopolies. They can litterally throttle what every they want without worrying about their customers. You need regulation in markets like.

This guy needs to be held personally responsible. But he won’t be and that makes me extremely mad. It sucks that the rich and wealthy can be as morally bankrupt as they want without any/many consequences.

You also need to consider the opportunity cost. If more people were willing to take the risk of starting a business perhaps that would lead to a more prosperous society.
