It's not on AWS but runs on a local raspberry pi, but my doorbell signals via MQTT that someone ringed. This makes my security camera take a picture and sends a push notification to a custom made iOS app which shows who's in front

Whoa, why is this downvoted so heavily? It's obviously a joke, and it's funny because Jobs really cared about typography, so he probably would have objected to this.

I'd love to see some sample code. I've tried something similar to detect the postman in my security camera stream, but failed over lots of small technical details. Does anyone know a good tutorial on reinforcement learning that de

Incriminating stuff can be sent to my mail address unencrypted. So I don't even have to use any proprietary messenger to be 'flagged'.

Is absolute security really something that anyone desires from a general purpose instant messenger? The government might read my WhatsApp messages - so what? They have been able to listen to my phone calls for ages. If there's somethin

That's easy to explain I think: In german "Bank" means "bench" as well as "bank", so there's quite a bit potential for confusion.

But Safari in iOS9 doesn't have an ad blocker, it provides an interface for extensions to efficiently implement content blocking.

Exactly this kind of service is where the closed Apple ecosystem should excel. Unfortunately, Apple has missed the transition from the Mac as a "media hub" to the cloud. iCloud came a bit late and they fail to keep up with the rapid innovat
