You could counter that claim by actually providing a list. You will quickly find that there are far more applications written in Java, Go, NodeJs, Python, Ruby and C/C++ than in Haskell. EDIT: Please see the TIOBE rankings just to see

This is a brilliant idea! It would be great if they start with something everyone uses such as editors - example: Vi, Emacs, Code, browsers such as Mozilla etc.

Why would you want to print two times of everything merely because someone changes the work timings? It is similar to changing over to a different shift during a season - the only difference is that this shift is an hour earlier or later th

Facebook's actions in India are absolutely despicable. The head of policy at Facebook in India is a radicalized member of the Indian rightwing and recently put up a post stating that Muslims are a "degenerate community" and w

Can't the federal govt leave the the time the way it is and just change the work time alone? Example: 8am-3pm during winters. 9am to 4pm during summers etc?

I really liked the way you have put up the donation button right up front. Nice and it immediately offers people the option of donating.

There is really no need to reinvent or start with a clean slate. You can just do the following: 1. Use HTML and vanilla JS or jquery without using the huge set of javascript libraries needed to render a simple page.. as an SPA. What was the

No, I started with Turbo Pascal in the late 80s and early 90s and then moved onto Delphi, Turbo C etc later. I programmed in Delphi till about version 7/8 when Borland decided to implode by going after "Application Lifecycle Manag

You are welcome! Please do give it a shot. I am not associated with the Lazarus project at all but I did develop in Delphi over 22 years ago and I still do some development using Lazarus. I hope to do some tutorial videos on this to help th

Lazarus already comes with tonnes of components (over 200) and lots of libraries but yes, it is still possible that you want to access some functionality which is not provided natively by the built-in components. But then, you may not.

Yes, the Delphi licensing cost is horrible. However, if you are using Lazarus you don't need to use Delphi at all. The lack of sufficient developers who are familiar with Lazarus/Freepascal is a problem though. But again, this is

It would be very difficult to get farmers to self-report anything unless what they get in return is quite tangible. I am not familiar with any network/system that does this effectively in India and at scale.
