You don't even need the waterworld reference. There is a great series of books (and now a TV show) where "Belters" are space adapted humans. It turns into an interesting, if not pretty depressing, racism problem between tho

Suicide is as high as a third of all prison deaths depending on facility. Homicide is like 2-4%. The claim that someone entered a locked prison cell, killed Epstein, and then left without getting caught is the definition of extraordinary. I

I hate to be boring, but extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, which so far has not been presented. My brother in law is an attorney who literally makes a career out of the deaths and injuries that result from the incredible

On my phone I installed Firefox mobile using DDG default search about a year ago. But, whoops, it's a Pixel and so I occasionally use the OS's Google search. I've not noticed a difference in result quality since the switch.

This assumes acceptance of a few premises that are not stated, significantly, that "all of group X disregards all opposing arguments as [a priori] irrational". I reject that premise holds true for all X. I am always suspicious, i

But to be clear, yes, interop with regular JavaScript and JSON is a bit of a pain in the butt. Bucklescript has lots of helpers but it's definitely the place where the soundness of the type system has broken down for me in the past.

No. Reason (bucklescript really) maps to the full range of a data structures. So use a dict as a dict, a record as a record, an array as an array...etc. It will map back to what makes the most sense in the JS world. As opposed to JS, wher

I'm building a project in ReasonML right now with reason-react. The Reason-only parts are actually a joy. The problem is interop with the wider ecosystem, and bucklescript. They are serious problems. You end up writing a ton of [@bs.
